Friends' Book Store
Welcome to the Friends' Store

OUR MISSION

The Friends of the Sacramento Public Library is a volunteer organization with a dual mission: to advocate for the library and to provide funding for library programs and materials, primarily through selling donated books.
JOIN US

Support the work of the Friends by becoming a member. Pick up a membership form at the Library or download and fill in the PDF form and mail to the following address:

SUPPORT THE FRIENDS' STORE
The Friends' Store at the North Natomas Library sells gently-used paperback and hardcover books, DVDs, CDs and magazines. All proceeds support programs and materials for children, teens, and adults at the branch.
SHOP
The store is open from 11:30am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 1pm to 4:30 pm on Friday. Look for evening hours on Monday and Tuesday when the weather warms up.
DONATE
Bring your gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and recent magazines to the Friends' Store. For more details. Click here!
VOLUNTEER

Dear Friends,

You may have noticed a change to our website...rest assured, everything is still within "clicking" distance, it has just been moved to another spot:

  • The Friends' Store button puts all of the Store information at your fingertips
  • About the Friends connects you to information about the Friends of the Library and contains the CONTACT US link along with our Calendar
  • About the Library lists all of the information related to our Library including the North Natomas Book Club link.
  • Community Links has all of the links you used to find under the Community Section of our website.

We thought we would go for a more steamlined look and a more user-friendly format. Let us know what you think.

Mark your calendars for the Friends of the Library Board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 9th at 7pm in the North Natomas Library Community Room.
