The Sacramento Public Library has provided us with a beautifully furnished store space directly under the clock tower in the library lobby. Our goal is to sell high-quality used books at reasonable prices to raise funds for library programs and materials.

Staffed by dedicated volunteers, the Friends’ Store is open five days a week during normal library hours.

Small donations of gently-used books, recent magazines, DVDs, and CDs can be taken directly to the Friends’ Store. If you have several boxes of books, we will help you get a book cart and assist you in taking your boxes through the staff entrance on the north side of the building. If you need help getting your books to the library, please write to:

so that we can arrange to pick up your books. We will be happy to provide you with a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.
